As September rolls into October, the weather has definitely cooled down a few degrees and there is the scent of autumn in the light breeze. Who says we don't experience the four seasons here on the Central Coast? You can see it in the color of the sky, the change in cloud formations, feel it on your skin when it's tickled by the crisp air, taste it in the juice of crunchy apples, and yes, those are leaves falling from the trees.
And just as the seasons change, so do things here at our little store. After a rather lazy, slow August, September brought back familiar faces along with new customers eager to get scrapbooking again. Our September sale was very successful and helped clear out some much needed space for all of the new inventory coming in for the fall season. We have new fall product from Flair, Rusty Pickle, Karen Foster, Bazzill, EK Success, Meri Meri, and Fancy Pants, and much more on its way including Hero Arts and American Crafts. To add to the wide variety of product we already carry in our store, we are off to Memory Trends in Las Vegas next week to see what is the latest and greatest in the scrapbooking world, and are hoping to add more product to fulfill your scrapbooking and paper crafts needs, including some much needed organizers for holding all this stuff!!
In addition to all the new product coming in the store, we also now carry an old favorite--Mrs. Grossman stickers are available by the pack or on rolls. For those of you who've asked, we now have an assortment for you to choose from. There is something for just about every occasion.
Some other changes to note when you come in our store next, we have reduced our large cropping area to make room for more store merchandise. And a dear, talented friend of ours helped brighten up our Kids' Korner with a delightful apple tree! Thank you, Shelley!!
We are also pleased to announce that we will be offering beginning scrapbook classes on Tuesday mornings starting October 17th. These classes are designed for first-timers and are very basic. We will be adding a beginning tools/ techniques class in November and a seasonal craft class as well. Check the website for more details or call the store if you are interested.
Finally, as many of you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and to support this worthy cause we have "pink" adhesives available while supplies last in single, multi-, and assortment packs. We have discounted the multi- and assortment packs to show our support for this cause, and 10% of your purchase goes directly to breast cancer research. Also, we have a very limited supply of pink Quickutz tools with the Moxie alphabet & case. This pink tool is no longer available from Quickutz, so once they are gone, we cannot order any more. This tool, case, and alphabet is a great deal at under $70.
