First of all, we here at Scrapbook Expressions want to shout out a great big, "Thank you!" for making our one year anniversary such a successful event! We had over 50 customers visit us on that Tuesday, and many more called or came by later to wish us well. It was a very happy day for us as we received so much positive feedback regarding our store's new look and expansion of inventory. Thank you again for all of your continued support and helping us to make our store the success that it is becoming!
If you haven't had a chance to drop by this month, you will be in for a surprise next time you come in. We have repainted, adding bright color to our walls, replaced the carpet with wood flooring, and added several new display racks to hold more inventory. We still have a few more changes to make, including a new (and much larger) front counter and sign for outside, but we are almost done.
To fill our new racks, we have added quite a bit more inventory, including several vendors we haven't carried before. We now feature products from Me & My Big Ideas, We R Memory Keepers, Cosmo Cricket, Autumn Leaves, and soon will have Moxie. We've also expanded our K & Company, Doodlebug, Karen Foster, American Traditional Designs, Bo Bunny, Fancy Pants, Daisy D's, Rusty Pickle, Sandylion, Bazzill, Quickutz, and My Mind's Eye lines. More from Flair Designs and EK Success will be arriving soon.
Now that our anniversary event is behind us, we are getting ready for our annual National Scrapbook Day Event, which will be held the first weekend in May. We still have one spot left if you would like to join us for this 2-day crop event. See details below.
With the arrival of May, summer is just around the corner and the increase of weekend visitors. To accommodate our customers' needs, we will be opening the store on Sunday afternoons, noon to 4 p.m., beginning May 20th. These extended summer hours will continue through Labor Day.

Classes
Beginning Scrapbook
Tuesday, May 22nd
Our classes are from 10 a.m. to noon, and the fee is $10., which includes all the materials needed to complete a two page lay-out. All you need to bring are your photos. These classes are designed for first time scrapbookers and are very basic. If you have been overwhelmed by all the embellishments you see in a scrapbook store, this class is for you. We will show you simple and quick techniques to get your photos into albums. Receive a 10% discount on all purchases made when you attend.
Alternative Album Classes
Tuesday, May 8th-Grandparents Brag book, fee, $25.
The fee includes all materials & instruction needed to complete each project. Just bring your own adhesive and trimmer, if you have one.
Reservations and prepayment required for all classes.
Special Events
National Scrapbook Day Event, Friday, May 4th, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., & Saturday, May 5th, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Come crop til you drop at this special two day event. We will begin on Friday evening with the first part of this two day crop. Crop from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., then leave your stuff overnight and come back to spend all day Saturday with us. The $60. fee, includes breakfast & lunch on Saturday, snacks both days, special gifts, make 'n takes, drawings & prizes throughout the weekend. We will also have a licensed massage therapist available on Saturday for those of you in need of a professional shoulder and neck massage (extra fee). Seating for this event is limited, so pre-pay as soon as possible to reserve your space. You may reserve by phone with credit card. Due to the popularity of this event, fees are nonrefundable.
