With our one year anniversary just around the corner, (yes, can you believe it?), we have decided that along with our new name we need a new look to go with it. So, over the next few weeks we will be undergoing a major spring cleaning here at Scrapbook Expressions-new paint, new flooring, new displays, new arrangements to make room for more inventory!! Our goal is to be finished and have everything ready for our big anniversary sale event on Tuesday, April 3rd. So, if you stop by our store between now and then you may have to put up with a little disruption, but we promise it will be worth it and hope you will all enjoy the "new" Scrapbook Expressions when we are finished! We hope to keep the store open throughout most of this
makeover, but if we find we have to close for a day or two we will send out an email, so watch for that in the next couple of weeks.
In light of Scrapbook Heaven in Santa Maria closing on March 17th, we will not just be the one and only scrapbook store in San Luis Obispo County, but the nearest store south will soon be in Santa Barbara. That means we have to expand our inventory and want to bring in more vendors to provide a wide variety to meet our customers' needs. Another change we are making is increasing our Saturday hours. Starting April 1st our store hours will be Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. We have extended store hours to 9:00 p.m. on Friday evenings when we have a crop for those of you who need a late shopping night.
Despite the "store in transition" we have not slowed down on ordering new product, and it continues to roll in every week. In the past two weeks we have received new product from Karen Foster, Bo Bunny, Quickutz, Bazzill, EK Success, and Chatterbox. Basic Grey is on its way, along with Daisy D's, Fancy Pants, SandyLions, K & Company, and Rusty Pickle. In April & May we will be adding several new vendors to our store-among them, Autumn Leaves, and Me & My Big Ideas. Be sure to check our website for the latest product available at our store.
Just a reminder that March is the final month to redeem any punch cards that are still out there. We will no longer be accepting them after this month. However, we are continuing with our weekly specials offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays, so be sure to check our calendar on the website, call, or come by the store to see what great deal you can take advantage of! Also, while supplies last we have an unbelievable Quickutz deal with the Squeeze tool (pink or black) & two alphabets (Moxie and Metro), all for the incredible price of $67.49! With all the changes going on at the store and our two big upcoming events, our anniversary in April and National Scrapbook Day in May, we have made a couple of changes to our class schedule. The Easter boardbook class scheduled for Tuesday, March 27th has been changed to Thursday, March 29th. There will not be an alternative album class in April. Instead we will make a "Grandparents Brag Book" in time for Mother's Day for those of you interested in a great gift idea for your mom (or dad for Father's Day)!
Be sure to join us on Tuesday, April 3rd as we celebrate our first year in our "new" scrapbook store. We'll have refreshments and a free gift for everyone who drops by, and there will be additional gifts with minimum purchase. Best of all, since we need to clear out inventory to make room for all of the new product scheduled for delivery, we will have a major storewide sale to help clear our racks!

Our classes are from 10 a.m. to noon, and the fee is $10., which includes all the materials needed to complete a two page lay-out. All you need to bring are your photos. These classes are designed for first time scrapbookers and are very basic. If you have been overwhelmed by all the embellishments you see in a scrapbook store, this class is for you. We will show you simple and quick techniques to get your photos into albums. Receive a 10% discount on all purchases made when you attend. No reservation needed.

The fee includes all materials & instruction needed to complete each project. Just bring your own adhesive and trimmer, if you have one. Pre-payment is required to reserve your kit.
Special Events
One Year Anniversary Special All-day Event, Tuesday, April 3rd, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Please join us as we celebrate our first year anniversary! This all day event will include refreshments, special gifts, and a storewide sale! We have grown so much in the past several months and we couldn't have done it without all of your support. So please, come by and celebrate this special day with us!
National Scrapbook Day Event, Friday, May 4th, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., & Saturday, May 5th, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Come crop til you drop at this special two day event. We will begin on Friday evening with the first part of this two day crop. Crop from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., then leave your stuff overnight and come back to spend all day Saturday with us. The $60. fee, includes breakfast & lunch on Saturday, snacks both days, special gifts, make ‘n takes, drawings & prizes throughout the weekend. We will also have a licensed massage therapist available on Saturday for those of you in need of a professional shoulder and neck massage (extra fee). Seating for this event is limited, so pre-pay as soon as possible to reserve your space. You may reserve by phone with credit card. Due to the popularity of this event, no spaces will be held without pre-payment and fees are nonrefundable.
Crops
Friday, March 23rd
Our crops are from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. The $10 fee includes refreshment, the use of our tools and Sizzix die-cuts, along with scrapbook tips and ideas. Come share in the fun of scrapbooking with others. Beginners welcome! Seating is filled on a first-response basis. Prepayment is required to reserve your space, which is fully refundable with a 48 hour cancellation notice. Receive 10% off all product in the store (this offer cannot be combined with any other store discounts).
